Drama teacher arrested for impersonating a cop
A Calabar High School teacher, Troy Chambers, is scheduled to appear in the Gun Court after an arrest last week by by the Elletson Road Police Station in Kingston.
Chambers attempted to impersonate a police officer while in possession of an illegal firearm.
A search later of his house uncovered 58 rounds of ammunition, 33 spent casings, and one firearm licence with the name 'Carl Samuels'
Chambers was slapped with charges of illegal possession of firearm and ammunition as well as impersonating a police officer.
Carl Samuels was the dean of discipline at Vauxhall High School on Windward Road in East Kingston and was murdered less than two weeks ago by gunmen. He is said to be an old classmate and friend of Chambers.
